Last night , the people of Johnstown spoke with a clear and generous voice. I am deeply humbled by your trust, and I accept this responsibility.
Eight years ago, you first sent me to City Council to listen, to learn, and to work alongside you. Every neighborhood meeting, every late-night budget session, every ribbon-cutting and every tough conversation has taught me one unshakable truth: Johnstown’s strength is not in its steel mills or its buildings; it is in its people. In you.
To every volunteer who knocked on doors in the rain, to every neighbor who shared a story over coffee, to every child who drew a campaign sign with crayons—thank you. This victory belongs to you.
I want to say a special word to my opponent, John DeBartola. Campaigns can grow heated; words can sting. But the sun will rise on a new day, and we will need every willing heart to move Johnstown forward.
To the families who worry about jobs, to the seniors who deserve dignity, to the students who dream big dreams right here in our schools: I see you. I hear you.
Together we will build a Johnstown where every porch light stays on a little longer, where every paycheck stretches a little further, and where every child knows this is a city that believes in them.
I began this day not with triumph, but with gratitude. Gratitude for the firefighters and police officers who run toward danger, the teachers who stay after the bell, the small businesses that open early and close late, the veterans who taught us duty, and the faith communities that remind us of grace.
Johnstown, we have work to do. We will do it the Johnstown way: one neighbor at a time, one street at a time, one shared tomorrow at a time.
God bless you thank you for support.
